a little of my story.

My family traveled quite a bit when I was younger and I was enamored by every new location and beautiful sight. Soon I began using my camera and words to capture these stories. My hope is that my photographic work will challenge perspectives, ignite dreams, and inspire love.

My artistic goal is to capture stories in my art in an honest and compelling way. I am inspired by details of people’s stories that are central, but often unnoticed. I use facets such as light, color, and motion in an image to document the pieces of the story. I love the process of creating each photograph and work of art. I recently have fallen in love with film photography, and the process of shooting, developing, and printing.

Photography is a beautiful and powerful medium of art that consistently changes the way that I interact and engage with people’s stories.
